About Play Money Sportsbook

What this is, and why it exists.

Play Money Sportsbook is a free game that looks and works like a sportsbook, minus the money. You bet credits on real NFL odds, build parlays, and see how your picks stack up against everyone else's.

Why it exists

Plenty of people enjoy the part of sports betting that has nothing to do with money: having a side in every game, sweating the last leg of a parlay, and arguing about who actually knows football. This site is for that part. You get the picks, the odds and the scoreboard, and the worst thing that can happen is a bad week on the leaderboard.

It's also a low-stakes way to learn. If spreads, moneylines and parlays are new to you, the betting basics guide explains them, and you can try each one here without risking anything.

What makes it different

• Real odds. Lines come from a real US sportsbook, not numbers made up for a game.
• Nothing to buy. Credits are free and can't be purchased, so nobody can pay their way up the leaderboard.
• Nothing to cash out. Credits have no cash value and can't be exchanged for prizes.
• Skill shows. Leaderboards count only settled bets, with minimums on the percentage boards, so a good record means something.

Who runs it

Play Money Sportsbook is an independent project. It is not owned by, affiliated with or sponsored by the NFL, any team or any sportsbook.

Playing responsibly
