Play Money Sportsbook is a free game where adults 21 and over bet on NFL games using credits that have no cash value. This page explains what information the site collects, what it's used for and the choices you have. Questions go to garrettpolodna@gmail.com.
What we collect
- From Google when you sign in: your Google account's unique ID and your email address. Google's sign-in also passes along your name and profile picture; we don't store them. We never see your Google password, and we don't request access to your contacts, files or anything else in your Google account.
- What you give us: the username you choose, and your confirmation that you are 21 or older, which we store as the date and time you confirmed.
- What playing creates: your bets, your credit balance, a history of changes to that balance, and your profile privacy setting.
- If you turn on notifications: the address your browser provides so we can reach that device. The pings we send through your browser's notification service carry no content; your device then fetches the message directly from this site.
- Technical information: like any website, our hosting provider processes your IP address and browser details in order to deliver pages to you.
We don't collect payment details, because nothing on the site can be bought.
Cookies and browser storage
We set one cookie, which keeps you signed in for up to 30 days, and store a small marker in your browser so the site opens straight to the games on your next visit. Google's sign-in button may set its own cookies. The site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
How we use it
- To run the game: keeping your balance, grading your bets and showing your history.
- To show leaderboards and profiles.
- To send the notifications you've asked for.
- To prevent abuse, such as one person running several accounts.
We don't sell your information, and we don't send marketing email.
What other players can see
Your username, record and rank appear on leaderboards. Your profile page shows your stats and recent bets to anyone, unless you switch your profile to private on that page. Your email address is never shown to other players.
Who else handles your information
- Google, to sign you in.
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site and its database.
- Your browser's notification service (run by Google, Apple, Mozilla or Microsoft, depending on your browser), if you turn notifications on.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Play Money Sportsbook's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Advertising
The site does not currently show ads. If that changes, this policy will be updated before ads appear.
How long we keep it, and deleting your account
We keep your information for as long as you have an account. To get a copy of your information or have your account and bets deleted, email garrettpolodna@gmail.com from the address you sign in with. We'll act on it within 30 days.
Your choices
- Make your profile private from your profile page.
- Turn notifications on or off for each device from your profile page.
- Sign out at any time from your profile page.
Age
Play Money Sportsbook is only for adults 21 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger, and we'll delete an account if we learn it belongs to someone under 21.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top and describe significant changes on the site.
